Set for congregational singing with piano and string accompaniment, this arrangement is easy to play, yet gives a fresh feel to this timeless hymn. The gentle instrumentation on the third stanza focuses the attention on the text, “See from His heads, His hands, His feet, sorrow and love flow mingled down,” and builds into the final stanza of commitment, “Were the whole realm of nature mine.”
Arranged for string quartet, churches with any sized strings section will benefit from the strings parts.
Originally arranged for our Easter service in 2017.
Available at no cost, it is my prayer that God will use this arrangement to stir your congregation toward dedication to the Savior.
Update: Below is a video of our church singing this arrangement at our Easter service in 2018.
