Last Sunday, we as believers celebrated the resurrection of Jesus. At our church, we put an emphasis on the day both in extra outreach to the community and in putting together extra music for the service.
This year was particularly rewarding in that we as a choir and orchestra stretched ourselves, specifically in one of our music selections. We are seeing continued momentum in our music ministry, and for that we are grateful. It is a joy to serve with our people.
I’m working on editing the audio from the service and intend to post a video or two of the songs as we have permission to post.
The resurrection is central to our faith. As spring comes to life here in South Carolina, the green around us reminds us that God revives what dies.
May we live our days with faith in that power.
